Hosting Services

PathXL offers a fully managed service to upload, store and serve the slides.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make available all digital slide media to PathXL in order to FTP upload the content to the PathXL server. Please see breakdown below for further details:-

• All digital slides must be made available online or by a storage unit to PathXL for upload to our servers.
• The digital slides will be uploaded via FTP on a 1GB internet line to our dedicated hosted server which currently resides in London.
• All digital slides will be stored on this dedicated server for the duration of the contract.
• All digital slides will be served out by a 1GB internet line via a series of image servers.
• Dedicated image servers can be configured for an additional fee.
